2024 Youth Shoot Results and Photos
The Youth Shoot for FRGC is now in the books. Thank you to all the Club Members and Parents who volunteered to help with the Event and serve as RSO’s and Coaches for the event. We had 26 Shooters between the ages of 10 and 17. The event was held between 1:00 and 4:00 on Saturday, September 7, and the weather also helped make it a wonderful day.
A Rifle was bought for the Raffle during the Event with money donated by Dennis Bohr’s Family. Dennis was a Board Member and an active member of the FRGC until his death. His love of Youth Shooting Events and time spent with Kids was his wish for the donation of money from his Family.
Our winning ticket was held by Nate Thompson, accompanied by his Father Seth Thompson, who excepted the Award with his son. The Savage Arms Rifle was a 22cal Rifle with a 3-9 Scope.
Beth Shimanski, Representative for Savage Arms and a FRGC Member stepped up and contacted her Company who were generous enough to provide ten new Rifles to be used by the youth at our event. We also want to extend a thank you to Richard and Ronnie Henrickson who donated their time and money to serve lunch for the kids and their families as well as ammunition and door prizes. We also want to extend a thank you to Scheels from Rapid City for their support of the event with Gift Certificates and sporting goods as door prizes.
